2022 vs 2023 What's New?

For the most part, the 2023 version will be very similar to the previous one. The Wrangler 4xe first debuted in 2022 after a lot of time was spent designing it to be efficient, modern, and capable. For the 2023 model year, there are two new exterior colours that people can consider. One is called Earl, which is a grey hue with an aquamarine tint, and the other is called Reign and is a limited-edition shade of purple. The Wrangler Rubicon 4xe is a beast on the trails, and it gets to have a new wheel design, a 17-inch wheel with blue accents. Like the previous version, the 2023 Wrangler 4xe can come with advanced safety mechanisms, an 8.4-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation, and a premium Alpine audio system.

This Jeep feels athletic and responsive, thanks to a pair of electric motors and a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo PHEV engine that produce 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission does its job well, and you'll appreciate having near-instant torque when you hit the pedal. Choose from Hybrid, Electric, and eSave driving modes depending on your mood and how much you'd like to rely on your battery. When you use electric mode, you'll notice how quietly the Jeep can operate. If you take electric power and the engine into consideration, the total range is 592 kilometres. When you're in all-electric mode, you'll be able to drive about 35 kilometres without the gas-powered engine kicking in. You can utilize the Max Regen feature to capture energy from regenerative braking and extend the charge of your battery pack. There are a number of electric charging stations that you can bring your Wrangler 4xe to, or you could charge at home with a Level I or Level II charger. As you might imagine, this Jeep is ready for the trails. There are a few 4x4 systems to think about, one of which is a Rock-Trac full-time system that has a 4:1 low gear ratio and electric front- and rear-axle lockers. Since the battery is waterproof, you can ford streams that are up to 30-inches deep.
